Colyn Ahola spent nearly a decade as a USAF Intelligence Analyst before building AMG in 2012. His job in the military was to cut through noise, find the signal that actually mattered, and turn it into something actionable under pressure. That is exactly what he does with marketing data today.

After leaving the Air Force, Colyn spent a year as a private contractor with BAE Systems, then moved into performance marketing for video game studios and startup apps where every dollar spent has a direct, measurable consequence. He then worked extensively in the finance industry where clients track everything and measure every vendor against one number: did it produce revenue.

Every industry taught him the same lesson. The gap between marketing spend and revenue is almost never a traffic problem. It is a system problem. AMG was built to close that gap with performance based compensation, no long term contracts, and a senior team that has skin in the game.
